Back from Philadelphia

I went to Philadelphia last week to continue doing the prescreening for the Low Dose Ketamine Infusion that I am planning to do to help me achieve much lower pain, at the least, and remission at best. The highly coveted remission! Flying was hard as we had to be at the airport there and back soooo early and I cannot sit for long periods of time without making my pain so much worse. One of the Doctors at Drexel College of Medicine told me that he so far saw no reason that I wouldn't be able to do it. Thank god!!! I am hoping and praying I am able to do this as it is scary to think of the future without it. In my last post I said that nothing good had come of RSD. On retrospect, I realize that that is an extremely negative position to take as I have learnt valuable life lessons from my experience. I would not like to continue with this illness and I would not wish this on my worst enemy. I have and will continue to try to make Lemonade out of the lemons that I have gotten. Unfortunately, my husband and I are in the process of seperating. It is a hard time for me right now, but I am very, very sure that I will be the strongest possible version of myself when I come out on the other side.

  1. Hi Natalie,

I am so glad to hear that the doctor thought you would be able to do the Low Dose Ketamine Infusion, that is really great news indeed!!

Also, proud of you for taking notice of the blessings you have received for having RSD, because there are many!!

So sorry to hear about you and your husband going through a separation though...hopefully it doesn't have anything to do with your RSD!

Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for all to go well for you in all of the above mentioned!!

    ~Blessings~

I am BACK!!!!

Hi all; It seems I took a year and a half off!!! I'm sorry!! I have been doing so so well with RSD/CRPS. Pain has been under control and much much lower then it ever was. A lot of changes have occurred in my life. Very big life changing experiences. I know that I am in the right place and on the right path..... I just recently started thinking again and realizing that I do need to continue to write this blog and help people. Even if I just help one person..... I have helped someone.  I remember when I was first diagnosed I felt so alone. It was awful. Friends and family didn't "get it." No one had any idea what was happening to my life. I researched and researched and found some amazing drs and treatment ideas that changed my life for the better. One thing that saved me was an attitude adjustment. Being positive has made the world of a difference. I was forced to have pain so I could be miserable or enjoy my life and deal with the pain. So I chose to live and live a l...
